A broken computer, a camera and boredom

Karen and I both have rotten colds at the moment. Its cold and wet outside so I haven’t even gone to get the Sunday papers (what would they say anyway – lots of nothing about Trump and Brexit….)

So I took these shots of some pf the parts of the dead PC. The inspiration for the stylistic approach is the New Objectivity approach that was fashionable in Germany between the Wars.

I say “inspired by” rather than “in the style of” because all the images are not wholly sharp across the frame. I’ve have also used a little bit of diffuse lighting on this last one.

Still, I’m please with the result.  Ah well, that killed an hour or so….
